Health care has been and will continue to change. Over the last few years we have worked hard to not let the changes in the health care system affect our quality of care. As an effort to maintain the quality of Physical Therapy that we strive to deliver, we like many other health care professionals, are not in network with every insurance plan. This allows us to continue to offer the standard of care that we feel as trained professionals is optimal, not what the insurance company determines in optimal. Even if we are not in network with your insurance you can still have PT with our “self pay/cash pay” option. Many of our patients also opt for our self pay option due to their high deductibles. You may be able to still use your insurance for Physical Therapy.
Here’s how it will work. Your visit with us will be considered a “cash or self pay visit”. You pay at the time of service for your visit. Soon after your Physical Therapy visit, we provide you with a super bill for your services at our facility, this would include the necessary codes required for billing. You then submit this to your insurance company to be reimbursed or applied to your deductible. Some insurances need a HICFA form, of which we can provide you with. Many insurance companies also have links to their specific forms on their websites that you can use to submit your claim. Insurances will vary in their allowed amounts for PT, check with your insurance company for specifics.
